I was diagnosed with VWF in the early 90s and given a compensation which at the time my solicitors Hugh jamed advised acceptance. They also processed a further claim for loss of faculties, ie hobies etc. After many letters I was advised that I would only be able to go any further If i was prepared to fund a court case myself which could be as much as £10000. reluctantly I dropped the case on their advice. Is there anything more I can do.

Thank you for your post Colin.
This has all the hallmarks of an undersettled compensation claim. I would suggest you start your claim to have this rectified through the Miners Rights website: http://www.minersrights.co.uk. They will look closely at your case free of charge.
There are also more options relating to the loss of opportunity in your VWF claim. Again, another FREE service provided by Keith Park Solicitors is for people who have been the victim of professional negligence. Please visit: http://www.claimagainstsolicitors.com.
Please keep us updated with how you get on.
