Conveyancing - A Summary

Conveyancing is the transfer of the title of the property from one person (the seller) to another (the buyer), and it is also the granting of the encumbrance of a mortgage. Conveyancing is like insurance as it ensures the buyer knows of any restrictions and problems with the property or land before the completion of the sale and also that the buyer has secured the title and the rights to the land / property.
